Amy's massage is an experience that goes beyond what you would expect from regular massage sessions. Sessions can include hot stones, essential oils, and cupping.

  • Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massages are used to break up scar tissue and break down muscle adhesions (the "knots" that we feel in our muscles are muscle adhesions, which are bands of rigid and painful muscle tissue). These knots can inhibit our circulation and cause pain and inflammation.

  • SET - Structural Energetic Therapy

Structural Energetic Therapy (SET) is a specific set of techniques applied to protocols that have been developed to release old structural patterns in order to rehabilitate and support a new balanced postural alignment. Unlike the ten-session model for body restructuring, SET is based on the needs of the client, beginning with releasing the structural imbalance responsible for the primary area of discomfort.

  • Cranial Structural Therapy

Cranial Structural therapy is a gentle hands-on treatment that may provide relief from a variety of symptoms including headaches, neck pain, and side effects of cancer treatment among many others. It uses a light touch to examine membranes and the movement of fluids in and around the central nervous system.

  • Hot Stones

A hot stone massage is a type of massage therapy. It’s used to help you relax and ease tense muscles and damaged soft tissues throughout your body. During a hot stone massage, smooth, flat, heated stones are placed on specific parts of your body. The stones are usually made of basalt, a type of volcanic rock that retains heat.

  • Essential Oils

Adding essential oils to a massage enhances the benefits of massage therapy. Aromatherapy massage can be used for relaxation, pain management, and improved mood.

  • Cupping

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation, and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.
